The information on this page is extremely crucial, so please read it
fully before you make travel plans.
Ride Sharing:
In lieu of a forum, this year we have a
RIDESHARE
Spreadsheet
If you're coming to the Festival and are able to bring people,
we have
several folks (especially from the Philly area) who need rides. Please
take a look at this if you're driving with empty seats.
Instructions:
- Ride providers:
Take a look at this sheet. Input your info so that folks can contact
you, and/or take a minute to
contact people who need rides. Once your vehicle is full or as it fills
up - please update the # of seats available and make a note in the far
right column.
- Ride seekers: Same
story; take a look at this sheet, input your information and/or contact folks from your
area providing a ride. Doing both will be most effective. Once you find
a ride - please change the # of seats you need to zero and make a note
in the far right column.

When To Arrive and Depart:
Plan to arrive on site after 9:30am on Thursday, June 16. We're asking
everyone to be on their way home by 5:00pm on Sunday, June 19th.
Arriving early and/or staying late cannot be accommodated. (Sorry.)
Please make travel arrangements accordingly.
Where is this thing anyway?
The PAPA Festival site is about 1.5 hours from Philadelphia on farmland
in PA. Shoot in that direction and we will fill you in on the rest
after you complete the Registration Form.
How Should I Get There?
You can get there by car/van and we’re working on public transit
directions from Philadelphia to a spot where we can shuttle people to
the festival site. PHL is the closest airport and is also best for
Amtrak, Greyhound, don’t forget Megabus- they just opened up routes
connecting all the way from MN to Philly and beyond. More details will
be included in your registration packet.
Driving Info:
We have a HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) requirement on all vehicles to
reduce the carbon impact of travel to the festival. We may have a
rideshare board again this year, but in the meantime, be sure to ask
around for folks needing rides from your region.
Directions:
Directions will be sent to you in the registration packet which will
come to you by email once you register. This helps us ensure that we
have the information we need to create the healthiest village we can.
If you are planning on taking train, plane, or bus:
Limited shuttles will be available between a nearby public transit
station and festival site on Thursday and Sunday.
If you are traveling with a child(ren) and plan on
taking a shuttle from the train station:
Please make sure 1) we know that, and 2) you bring the necessary child
seat for that child. If this is a problem, please contact us
Who should I talk to about all this?
Transportation related questions can be sent to: transportation@papafestival.org
Days before the festival, a phone number will be available in case you
have questions, delays, or you are desperately lost. This number will
be included in your Registration packet.
Happy travels!
